At Trade Windows Bristol, we have an exciting opportunity for a driver to join our team.

As a driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of vehicles including vans and Class 2 lorries, to transport goods and materials.

Main job roles:

• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
• Navigate destinations using GPs or other navigation tools
• Communicate effectively with the transport manager, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and tyre pressure
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial driving role
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to operate different types of vehicles, such as vans or flatbed trucks
• Knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Current class 2 license advantage
• Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of windows and doors
